You'll see a new set of letters behind Jim's name, CeFT®. In April 2016, Jim became a Certified Financial Transitionist® by completing a 24-month program designed to help him guide his clients through the financial and personal sides of major life transitions. He is part of a small, global network of advisors who are using processes developed by the Sudden Money® Institute (SMI). Jim attended monthly classes where he learned different aspects of Financial Transition Planning- tools for decision-making and protocols for comprehensive listening to help better serve his clients. We are happy to announce the hiring of our new Client Relationship Manager, Serena Bogaczyk. Serena will be your first contact with our company. She will work closely with our clients and handle the administrative duties for the firm. Serena began her professional career with Credit Suisse, a global investment bank. As a Financial Analyst in Product Control, Serena served as a financial guardian of the Bank’s trading activities. She is currently pursuing her Series 7 & 63 registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network and is in the early stages of achieving her CFP® certification. YOU'RE INVITED TO OUR 5TH ANNUAL SHRED EVENT
With the 2015 tax season almost behind us, chances are you have accumulated a lot of documents that you need to get rid of. Don’t risk throwing those documents containing private information in the trash or burning up your own shredder. Bring them to our office to take advantage of our shredding service. We will have an extra-large bin to collect your documents that will be locked up until our shredding company comes to shred them later that day.

We’ll also be serving lunch from Danny’s Barbeque, including shredded pork, sliced turkey, beef brisket, along with sides, toppings and dessert. Stay and enjoy lunch or take a box to go.

Your friends and family members are also invited to take advantage of this free service! Bring them along to enjoy lunch too. As always, we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with helpful and convenient service!

CHRIS WALSH EARNS HIS CFP® CERTIFICATION, Feb 2013

As many of you know, Chris Walsh has been studying for and recently sat for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam. We are delighted to report that he passed the exam in November. You will begin to notice the letters CFP® proudly displayed after his name on emails and letters.

Becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ is a rigorous one-year program, including in person classes and independent self-study. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam is a 15-hour, 2-day exam, covering topics including: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. Chris must also meet ongoing continuing education requirements and uphold the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
